The Challenge
The VapeWorld retail chain previously had only an informational website, which no longer fully met modern customer expectations. Customers increasingly prefer browsing products online, checking prices in advance, and shopping conveniently, including with the option of in-store pickup.
The goal was to create a modern online store that properly represents a multi-store retail chain and supports back-office processes alongside online sales.
The Solution
CloudBrain undertook the full implementation of the project, from planning and custom design through development to ongoing operation. The client was responsible for providing the online store’s content, while CloudBrain was responsible for the technical implementation and setting up the systems needed to run it.
The online store was built on WooCommerce, with a custom-developed theme and numerous features that go beyond the capabilities of a traditional online store.
Custom Features and Integrations
Particular attention was paid to sales-supporting automation, the customer experience, and integration with external services when designing the system.
- Online sales: A WooCommerce-based online store with a custom design and a QR code payment option.
- Age verification: Adulto.cz integration to manage age requirements associated with the product range.
- Shipping integrations: Packeta and GLS integrations to support order fulfillment.
- Automated marketing: Custom marketing workflows that help reach customers in a targeted way and maintain customer relationships.
- Personalized campaigns: Notifying the existing customer base with automatically generated unique coupons.
- Flexible email management: Customizable email templates and automated communication.
- Pre-launch campaigns: Emails featuring countdowns and a Coming Soon page ahead of product or offer launches.
- AI-powered customer support: An AI ChatBot built on the CloudBrain API, opening up new possibilities for automated visitor assistance.
- Invoicing: The CloudBrain Plugins Slovenské Faktúry Pro solution, with preparations for integrating mandatory e-invoicing processes.
As part of the system’s further development, the integration of CloudBrain Stock is also underway, which will support the coordination of inventory management and business processes in the future.
A Key Challenge: Legal Compliance
One of the most complex tasks in the project was accounting for the legal and operational requirements arising from the adult-oriented product range. Particular attention therefore had to be paid to age verification and relevant compliance considerations when developing the online store.
The goal was not merely to create a well-functioning online sales interface, but to build a system whose operation also aligns with the specific characteristics of the product category.
The Result
VapeWorld gained a modern, comprehensive online store worthy of a multi-store retail chain. The system combines online shopping, integrations with external services, and custom-developed automation.
As a result of the project, the client received not just a new website, but a digital sales platform that can be continually developed, providing a solid foundation for further automation, stronger customer relationships, and the expansion of the business’s online presence.
